Broadway stars, actors will perform at ‘Concert for America: Stand Up, Sing Out!’ in Atlanta

— ATLANTA JOURNAL-CONSTITUTION — A cavalcade of Broadway stars, actors, comedians and recording artists will take the stage at Georgia Tech’s Ferst Center for the Arts for the “Concert for America: Stand Up, Sing Out!” The event, created and hosted by SiriusXM Broadway channel host Seth Rudetsky and Broadway/record producer James Wesley, will take place at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 28. Performers so far include: Tony Award-winner Jessie Mueller(“Beautiful,” “Waitress”); singer Melissa Manchester (“Don’t Cry Out Loud”); actress Sharon Gless (“Cagney and Lacey,” “Burn Notice”); YouTube star Randy Rainbow; TV fixture Kim Fields (“The Facts of Life,” “Living Single”); Broadway’s Keala Settle (“Waitress”); actor Christopher Morgan (“Meet the Browns”); Atlanta natives Royce Mann (“White Boy Privilege” slam poem), Nora Schell (“Spamilton”) and Ryann Redmond (“Bring It On the Musical”); and area students from the international performing arts training institute, Broadway Dreams.
